Our Cruises

The unit's scientists conduct or participate in numerous deep-sea cruises, on board UMS Fleet vessels or foreign vessels.
The aim is to study deep ecosystems - hydrothermal springs, cold fluid springs, deep corals, canyons and polymetallic nodule fields - at biological, chemical and ecosystem levels.
